We carried out a large amount of research before contacting the Yorkshire Resin Company to establish the most trustworthy, competent and capable company in the area. This company stood out from the others in their reviews. After initial contact we were met at our 1900 property by John who guided us through what could be done, what was needed, how long it would take and our options. There was absolutely no hard sell here. John measured out, photographed and videoed the driveway to assist the groundwork team. Our driveway before could only best be described as a bomb site. It was at least a metre deep in places where concrete, tarmac and stone had been laid on top of itself over the years. It was an eye sore. Aiden and his team found an opportunity to start the driveway earlier than anticipated and the groundworkers did an incredible job in removing the debris. It was dug up with a small digger and removed by a truck with a “grabber”. This took place a couple of times without the need for an obstructive skip. New drainage grates, sleepers for flower beds, pin kerbs and edging to tidy up the perimeter. Even before the resin was laid it looked fantastic. Then came the finale. Once the resin was laid and set, I can honestly say that it transformed the worst house on the street into the best. It looks spectacular and with everyday that goes by, I can only glance at it in amazement. I have had a number of complimentary comments from people in the neighbourhood about the drive & I thoroughly recommend this company to others considering resin as a driveway alternative.
