1. Sussex, Hampshire and Wiltshire circuit

This best suits the needs of the motor racing enthusiasts, offering stunning views of countryside and coast a good 120 mile trip lets you see the historic countryside and parts of the Cotswolds, you can even pop by to not one but three famous racing circuits. The route from Bosham, calls at Goodwwod along to Winchester, then on to Thruxton Motorsport Centre, finally ending up at Castle Combe.

2. Hardknott Pass – The Lake District

Now you have to be a confident driver for this one, and having a head for heights is a must, this is a famously challenging road but one that offers stunning views across the Lake District National Park. The sign for drivers of caution at Eskdale you will hit a “gradient 1 in 3” is something that will test any motorist, starting your drive at Little Langdale you will climb steeply through various hairpins before a steep decent that will really test your brakes.

3. Coastal Devon

If you are a fan of bending roads this is a drive for you! A coastal road that takes in part of rural Devon countryside, you will view a host of coastal bays, cliffs and stunning views of the sea, the road bends and twists throughout the famous National Park of Dartmoor, a 120 mile trip you will never forget. We recommend starting the journey at Topsham, on to Dawlish, Teignmouth, Shaldon and then Torquay and Paignton.

You will in fact need to catch the ferry on this journey across to Dartmouth, you can view the stunning scenery of Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, but it’s not until Torcoss that you see the lighthouse before hitting the moors across Dartmoor before ending up in Moretonhampstead.

4. Peak District

If you love history you will be a big fan of this drive, a 60 mile road trip that has everything bends, views, descents, historic buildings and bridges. Starting your journey at Holmfirth you will head across to Holme Moss before a rapid decent to Woodhead reservoir, head out to Bakewell to enjoy Sheepwash Bridge and meander on to Monsal Head where the view of Headstone Viaduct is stunning before a drop into nearby Buxton.

5. Grand Tour Of Norfolk

A 100 mile stretch of coastal road that will have you touring the sandy beaches of Norfolk, single carriage roads that will lead you through fields and small Norfolk villages. Start your journey in Norfolk and head out to Salhouse talking in the Norfolk Broads until you meet the coastal town of Cromer you then travel on to the coastal towns of Cley Next The Sea, Blakeney and Well-Next-The-Sea, for a little bit of National Park countryside you then come to the National Park of Holkham. Push on to Titchwell and Hunstanton for more stunning beach views.
