It’s time to clean the garden!
Spring is finally here, it’s time to venture into the garden and give it a good spring clean, over the last few months your garden area will be looking a bit worse for wear, but a little cleansing will make all the difference.
Have a general tidy up around the garden, now that the sun is out it’s time to have a nosey around the garden and fix anything that may have been damaged from the cold winter months or the resent windy weather this could be just simple thing like pruning broken branches, or re-attaching broken fence panels.
Annual plants that are from winter will need to be removed and composted, no one wants a garden full of dead decaying plants to look at. Remove and compost fallen leaves and clumps of roots.
If leaves have fallen on the lawn area it makes sense to rake them into piles, and remove all dead grass blades, this again can all be placed into compost bins.
Weeds can have appeared in flower and vegetable beds, make sure to remove these and keep the area tidy and weed free. This task shouldn’t take long and is just something that part of keeping the area clean.
The final thing in the garden to do is make sure that you go round all the edging of the flower and vegetable beds and have them looking tip top and their very best.
Clean your driveway!
One job that is often forgotten or put to one side is cleaning and maintaining your driveway, this is just as important, appearance is everything when first visiting a property. Not only can that but an un-kept driveway become a bit of a hazard when moss and unwanted growth appears.
Here at The Yorkshire Resin Company we recommend that you power clean a resin driveway at least annually but maybe even more frequent if perhaps your driveway is covered by trees, as this can often speed up unwanted growth such as moss and weeds.
